Summary

Overview: Shipping Credits pay the courier fee when you book a J&T or Lalamove delivery through Prosperna's courier accounts for an order whose payment went straight to you, for example through your own connected Xendit account or a payment link. 1 credit covers PHP 1 of courier fees, and you buy them at 50 credits for $ 1.00. Keep enough credits in your balance, or the booking is blocked.

Prerequisites:

  • A Launch, Grow, Scale or Premium Trial plan, on a store in the Philippines.
  • A saved card in Billing. Top-ups are charged to your Default Credit Card (see How to Manage Your Payment Cards).

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open the Shipping Credits section

  1. Click your name or profile picture at the top right of the dashboard.
  2. Click Billing.
  3. Click the Credits tab and scroll to Shipping Credits, below AI Credits.

Shortcut for store owners: click the lightning-bolt icon (Credits Usage) in the top bar, then click Top Up next to Shipping Credits. This opens the top-up window directly, so you can skip to Step 3, item 2.

Step 2: Check your balance

The Shipping Credits section shows:

  • Shipping Credits Balance: the credits you have now
  • Recent transactions: your last five changes, labelled Top Up, Delivery Booking, Refund or Adjustment, with the date

Step 3: Top up

  1. Click Top Up.
  2. In the Top Up Your Shipping Credits window, enter a whole dollar amount from $10 to $1,000, or click $10, $20, $50 or $100.
  3. Check the line below the amount. For example: $10 = 500 Shipping Credits (covers PHP 500 of courier fees).
  4. Click Confirm. Your default card is charged straight away. If your bank asks you to verify the payment, follow its prompts.

Verify It Worked

Success criteria:

  • A Top up successful! message appears and the window closes.
  • Your Shipping Credits Balance goes up, and Recent transactions shows a new Top Up line.
  • The purchase appears on the Invoices tab as a Shipping Credits Top-Up invoice.

When you book a courier for an order that uses Shipping Credits, the booking confirmation shows a Shipping Credits panel with your Current balance, what This booking will use, and your Balance after booking.

Troubleshooting

Common errors

  • "Enter a whole dollar amount between $10 and $1,000.": change the amount, then click Confirm again.
  • A yellow box says you have no saved card, with a Go to Payment Methods button (for example, "No saved card on file. Please add a credit card first."): click Go to Payment Methods, add a card, then top up again.
  • "Your card was declined. Please try a different card." or "Payment failed. Please try again or use a different card.": you were not charged. Check with your bank. Or add another card, then remove the card that fails so another saved card becomes your default, and try again.
  • "Insufficient Shipping Credits" when you book a delivery: your balance doesn't cover the courier fee. Click Top Up Shipping Credits in that window. It takes you to the Credits tab with the top-up window open.
  • "Not enough Shipping Credits for this booking. Top up first, or the booking will be blocked.": shown in the booking confirmation. Top up before you confirm the booking.
  • You get a "Shipping Credits running low" notification: your balance has dropped below 200 credits. Top up so your next booking isn't blocked.
  • There's no Shipping Credits section: Shipping Credits are only for stores in the Philippines. Free and suspended stores can't open the Credits tab.

Limitations & considerations

  • You can't choose the card at top-up. Your Default Credit Card is always charged.
  • Promo codes can't be used for Shipping Credits.
  • The amount is in whole US dollars. Decimals are dropped (for example, 15.75 becomes 15).
  • Shipping Credits are not used for cash on delivery orders, for orders paid through Prosperna's own checkout payments, or for bookings made on your own courier account.
  • Your balance is shown in credits, not pesos. 1 credit covers PHP 1 of courier fees.
