Summary

Overview: All Pages lists every page of your online store: the pages Prosperna created for you and the pages you made. From here you can find a page, publish or unpublish it, rename it, set its SEO and tracking codes, duplicate it, move it to the trash, restore it, or copy its design onto one of your default pages.

Prerequisites:

  • A store on the Launch, Grow, Scale or Premium Trial plan.
  • Store owner access, or a team member with Page Builder access.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open All Pages

  1. In the sidebar, click Page Builder, then All Pages.
  2. The table shows each page's Title, Status, Author and Last Modified date. Click a column heading to sort.
  3. A house icon next to a title marks your home page (This is your Home Page.).

Step 2: Find a page

  1. Use the tabs above the table to filter by status: All, Published, Unpublished or Trash.
  2. Type in Search... to find a page by name.
  3. Use the Type filter:
    • System: thank-you, error and maintenance pages.
    • Ecommerce: Product Listing, Single Product, Cart and Checkout.
    • Default: Home, About Us, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Return Policy, Blogs and Contact Us.
    • My Pages: pages you created yourself.
  4. If nothing matches, use the reset option on the empty table to clear the filters.

Step 3: Use the page actions

Click ... in a page's Actions column. The options depend on the page:

Action What it does
Edit Opens the page in Max AI's Builder. See How to Build Pages with Max AI.
View / Preview Opens the live page (View) or a preview of an unpublished page (Preview) in a new tab.
Publish / Unpublish Makes the page live, or takes it off your store.
Quick Edit Opens the page's name, SEO and tracking code settings. See Step 4.
Duplicate Makes a copy of one of your own pages. See Step 7.
Use as a default page… Copies this page's design onto one of your default pages. See Step 8.
Restore previous design Undoes a Use as a default page… replace. See Step 8.
Change look Shows the page in one of your saved looks, or puts it back on your store default. See Step 3b.
Trash Moves one of your own pages to the trash.

Step 3b: Change a page's look

A look is a saved copy of your store's colors, fonts and button style. A page that uses a look other than your store default shows a Look: badge next to its title in the table.

  1. Click ... on the page's row, then Change look.
  2. In Look for "", choose a saved look, or choose Store default () to put the page back.
  3. Click Save. You see The page now uses this look.

The window reminds you: The page shows in this look on your storefront. The menu and footer stay on the store default.

Change look only appears once you have saved at least one look. See How to Save and Reuse Store Looks.

Step 4: Rename a page and set its SEO (Quick Edit)

  1. Click ... → Quick Edit on the page.
  2. Under Page Details, change the Page Name (up to 50 characters). The page's web address (the Slug) is made from the name and updates when you save.
  3. Under Search Engine Optimization:
    • Basics: Meta Title, Meta Description, Keywords and Meta Image (at least 600 × 315 pixels). The counters show the recommended length (50 characters for the title, 150 for the description). Click Generate with AI to have suggestions written for you.
    • Robots: No Index and No Follow, plus Advanced Robots Settings (No Archive, No Snippet, No Image Index).
    • Advanced (Redirect, Rating) and Schema (Schema Type, Author, Publisher): Scale and Premium Trial only. On other plans these tabs show a crown and open an upgrade prompt.
  4. Click Save. You see Successfully updated followed by the page name.

System and default pages (for example Home, About Us or Cart) can't be renamed. You see This is a system page. The page name cannot be changed. You can still change their SEO and tracking codes.

Step 5: Add tracking codes to one page

  1. Open Quick Edit on the page and scroll to Tracking Codes.
  2. Paste code into:
    • Head: Runs only on this page, inside the head. Use it for a pixel or tag that belongs to this page alone.
    • Footer: Runs only on this page, at the end of the body. Use it for code that should load after the page content.
  3. Click Save. Tracking codes take effect on the live page as soon as you save. You don't need to republish.

Code for every page of your store belongs in Settings → Store → Scripts & Analytics instead.

Step 6: Add a page with the classic form (older stores only)

Stores created before May 28, 2026 also see Add New Page under Page Builder (and Add Page in All Pages opens the same form). Newer stores build pages with Max instead. See How to Build Pages with Max AI.

  1. Click Page Builder → Add New Page.
  2. Fill in Page Details, then under Layout choose a theme and a layout (or Blank).
  3. Set SEO and Tracking Codes if you like.
  4. Click Save Draft to save the page, or Create Page to save it and open it in the classic editor in a new tab.

If you skip the theme, you see Please select a theme before creating a page.

Step 7: Duplicate a page

  1. Click ... → Duplicate on one of your own pages.
  2. You see Page Successfully Duplicated. The copy is saved as an unpublished draft named after the original with (Copy) added, and its web address ends in -copy.
  3. Click Edit Details to rename the copy and set its SEO, or Close.

Default and system pages (such as Home, About Us, Cart or Checkout) can't be duplicated.

Step 8: Use one of your pages as a default page

Use this to put a page you built onto Home, About Us, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy or Return Policy, keeping that page's name, address and SEO.

  1. Click ... → Use as a default page… on one of your own pages. (The option appears once the page has a saved design.)
  2. Pick the default page it should replace and read the summary.
  3. Click Confirm replace. For your homepage, click Replace my homepage…, then I understand, replace my homepage.
  4. You see Default page replaced successfully.

What to know:

  • If the default page is published, your visitors see the new design straight away.
  • If your own page isn't published yet, its saved draft is used.
  • It copies the design. Later changes to your page don't change the default page.
  • To undo, click ... → Restore previous design on the default page, then confirm. You can restore for 30 days.

Step 9: Trash, restore or delete a page

  1. To remove one of your own pages, click ... → Trash. It moves to the Trash tab.
  2. To bring it back, open the Trash tab, click ... → Restore Page.
  3. To delete it forever, click ... → Delete Permanently, type DELETE and click Delete. The page is also removed from your primary menu.

Step 10: Unpublish your home page

  1. Click ... → Unpublish on your home page.
  2. In Unpublish Homepage, click Confirm. The page is no longer visible to customers.
  3. Your store then uses the Home page as its home page if it's published, or the Product Listing page if not.

Verify It Worked

Success criteria:

  • The page's Status shows Published, Unpublished or Sent to Trash as expected.
  • After a rename, View opens the page at its new address.
  • A duplicated page appears in the list with (Copy) in its name and the status Unpublished.

Troubleshooting

Common errors

  • "System pages can't be renamed. To use a different design at this address, open the page you want to use and choose "Use as a default page".": see Step 8.
  • "Page slug already exists." or "Name already exists.": another page already uses that name or address. Choose a different name.
  • "Please enter DELETE in all caps.": type DELETE exactly to delete a page permanently.
  • "Google meta title must be 500 characters or less." (and similar): shorten the field named in the message. Twitter titles can be up to 50 characters and descriptions up to 150.
  • "This page has no saved content yet. Open it in the Max AI Page Builder and save your changes there first.": open the page in Max, click Save → Save Draft, then publish it.
  • Page is open in Max AI: the page is open in a Max chat, so it can't be renamed, trashed or deleted. Click Close and Proceed (or Discard changes and Proceed) to close it there and carry on, or Go to that conversation → to finish your work first.
  • "There is no replace to undo on this page. The undo window may have expired.": the 30 days to restore the previous design have passed.
  • "This page has no saved design yet. Open it in the builder and save your changes first.": save the page in Max AI's Builder before using it as a default page.

Limitations & considerations

  • Renaming a page changes its web address. Update any links to the old address.
  • Default and system pages can't be renamed, duplicated or moved to the trash.
  • Product Listing, Single Product, Cart, Checkout, thank-you and error pages are always part of your store and have no Publish / Unpublish option. Cart, checkout, thank-you and error pages also can't be edited.
  • Contact Us and Blogs can't be replaced with Use as a default page….
  • A replace can be undone for 30 days.
